Flat tanks are also available, which are recommended in rocky terrain or if the tank must be dug out by hand. The amount of soil to be excavated here is considerably less than with a normal rainwater tank. The tanks are of very high quality, thick-walled and extremely stable. A manhole with a diameter of 55 cm ensures easy access. These tanks are automatically equipped with an extension shaft if the distance between the manhole and ground level needs to be bridged.
